BY-LAWS OF THE ARABIC BAPTIST CHURCH Murfreesboro, TN

Article I: The name of this church shall be: Arabic Baptist Church of Murfreesboro, TN. 

Article II: The mission of this church is two-fold: 

• build up of the body of believers through Bible study, prayer, worship, ministry and fellowship
• Share the message of salvation through Jesus Christ to the lost in Murfreesboro and the utmost parts of the world and all people groups. 

Article III: This church shall be governed by the majority vote of a quorum of eligible members present, with the Holy Bible as the Church’s guide and rule of faith and practice under the leadership of the Holy Spirit. 

Article IV: A person can be accepted for membership upon approval of the church members by any of the following ways: 

• By profession of faith: Public profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and upon baptism by immersion. 
• By letter: One may be received into membership upon receipt of a letter (in good standing) of transfer from a church of like faith.
• By statement: One who has been baptized by immersion in another church upon profession of faith in Christ, but  is not able to obtain a letter of transfer, may come by statement.
• By baptism from another denomination: If a person has followed Christ but not been baptized by immersion, they must be immersed to become a member of this body.
• As an associate member: Any American-background believer who has an active membership in a church of like faith may become an associate member of this church while retaining their full membership in their home church. Associate members will have full voting rights. 

Article V: Membership shall be terminated by any of the following: 

• Death
• Transfer of membership to another church
• Church discipline, as set forth by the Word of Christ in Matthew 18:15-17. 

Article VI: The Ordinances of this church are as follows: 

• Baptism by immersion
• The Lord’s Supper 

**The Ordinances have no saving power and confer no saving grace, but are symbolic acts of obedience to the commands of our Lord Jesus Christ.  

Article VII: The church staff and officers must be members of the church and may consist of the following as the church wishes and has need:

• Pastor
• Deacons/Elders 
• Treasurer
• Church clerk 

Article VIII: When a vacancy occurs in the position of pastor, a Search Committee is to be formed by the nomination of 5-7 persons and elected by the church. The committee will present one candidate at a time, which must be approved by an 85 percent vote. 

Article IX: The church shall plan, organize, implement, and evaluate ministries as the church deems necessary. 

Article X: The church shall form committees as it deems necessary. The pastor/elders will recommend and the congregation will approve members who will serve no more than three consecutive years. 

 المادة رقم واحد: االسم الرسمي للكنيسه الكنيسة العربية المعمدانية بمرفريسبورو                                                                             

 المادة رقم اثنين: هدف ورسالة الكنيسة تنقسم رساله الكنيسة إلي جزأين أساسيين:                                                                            

• جماعة المؤمنين : تشجيع ونمو وذلك عن طريق دراسة الكتاب المقدس، الصاله، العبادة، الخدمة والشركه.
• المشاركة باالنجيل و رساله الخالص بيسوع المسيح. ليس فقط لمن يحتاج إلى سماع الكلمة بل إلي كل من نستطيع الوصول اليهم على مستوى العالم من المجموعات أصحاب الخلفيات المختلفة. مشاركة رساله الخالص بالرب يسوع إلي جميع الناس من جميع الخلفيات بميرفريزبورو وحتى إلي أقاصي األرض. 

 المادة رقم ثالث: تخضع الكنيسة لقيادة األغلبية من األعضاء المنتخبه حسب إرشاد وتعليم الكتاب المقدس و تحت قيادة الروح القدس وذلك                    باالنتخاب لجميع أمور وشئون الكنيسه.                                                                                                                        

 المادة رقم أربعة: يمكن للشخص أن يصبح عضوا في الكنيسة (بعد الموافقة عليه من أغلبية األعضاء) وذلك عن طريق التالي:                                          

• إعلان الايمان بيسوع المسيح أمام أعضاء الكنيسة على أن يتم تعميدة بالكنيسه وعن طريق التغطيس
• يمكن قبول الشخص كعضو في الكنيسة إذا كان قادما من كنيسة أخرى لها نفس اإليمان على أن يقوم بإحضار خطاب تحويل من تلك الكنيسة. 
• في حاله عدم استطاعة الشخص أن يأتي بخطاب من كنيسته األولى يمكنه أن يقدم هو شخصيا بيانا للكنيسه يوضح ذلك وعلى ذلك يمكن أن يتم قبوله في عضوية الكنيسة. 
• في حاله ما إذا كان الشخص مؤمنا بالفعل إال أنه لم يتم تعميده عن طريق التغطيس، يجب أن يتم تعميده بالتغطيس ليصبح جسدا في هذه الكنيسة.
• األعضاء المساعدين . ينطبق هذا البند على المؤمنين من خلفية أمريكية ممن لهم نشاط واضح في كنيسة أخرى لها نفس اإليمان. هؤالء يمكن قبولهم كأعضاء مساعدين في الكنيسة مع احتفاظهم بحق االنتماء واالستمرار في كنيستة األم. ****ملحوظة: العضو المساعد له حقه الكامل في التصويت 

  المادة رقم خمسة: تسقط العضوية في حاله توفر واحدة أو أكثر من الشروط التالية:                                                                             

• الوفاة 
• انتقال العضوية إلي كنيسة أخرى
• اإلخالل بقواعد وآداب الكنيسة تطبيقا لقول المسيح في متى 51:51-5  

   المادة رقم ستة: للكنيسه طقسين وفريضتين أساسيتين وهما:                                                                                                    

• المعمودية بالتغطيس ، وتتم مره واحدة للمؤمن.
• العشاء الرباني، مره كل شهر أو حسب ترتيب الكنيسة. وليس لهذه الفروض ايه قوى خالصيه. فالخالص باأليمان وحده. ***الكنيسة تؤدي هذه الفروض تنفيذ لوصيه الرب يسوع المسيح. 

المادة رقم سبعة: قادة الكنيسة إما أن يكونوا فقط أعضاء بالكنيسه أو أن يكون لهم احدى المناصب والخدمات اآلتية مما يتوافق مع إحتياجات       الكنيسة ورغبة العضو على حد سواء                                                                                                                     

• راعي الكنيسة 
• شيوخ الكنيسة
• أمين الصندوق
•  مهام الكنيسة اإلدارية  

المادة رقم ثمانية: في حاله احتياج الكنيسة إلي راعي. يتم اختيار راعي الكنيسه من قبل لجنه تسمى لجنه البحث. هذه اللجنه مكونه من 1-1         افراد يتم اختيارهم من الكنيسه. ثم تقوم اللجنه باختيار المرشحين لهذا المنصب وعرضهم على شعب الكنيسه. وتتم الموافقه عليه بنسبه تصويت 85%.                                                                                                                                                                  

المادة رقم تسعه: يجب على الكنيسة أن تعد وتخطط للخدمات وذلك حسب ما تراه مناسبا وضروريا. زيارة المرضي، افتقاد األعضاء، إعداد قادة الرب  .                                                                                                                                                                  

المادة رقم عشرة: يجب على الكنيسة أن تختار لجان مكونه ممن تراه مناسبا من أعضاء الكنيسة. هؤالء األعضاء سوف يتناوبون الخدمة فيما                 بينهم باستمرار. هذه اللجان مؤقتة لتوفير احتياجات الخدمة.
